Abstract
The aim of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of teaching in the two methods of mutual learning and directed discovery in improving motor satisfaction and self-confidence during the physical education and sports classes among secondary school students (18-15 years),the researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research and The research sample consisted of the secondary school students (15-18 years old), which numbered 60 students randomly divided into three equal groups (control group, reciprocal method group, guided discovery group). The researcher used the measure of motor satisfaction and the self-confidence measure. An interactive program and a discovery method were developed to improve the level of motor satisfaction and self-confidence for a period of 10 weeks with 2 units per week and 60 minutes per unit. The data were processed statistically using the SPSS. The researcher concluded the following: • There were statistically significant differences between the tribal and remote tests in the degree of motor satisfaction and self-confidence after using the traditional method in the control group and for the post-test. • There were statistically significant differences between the tribal and remote tests in the degree of motor satisfaction and self-confidence after using the method of mutual learning among the members of the first experimental group and for the post-test. • There are statistically significant differences between the tribal and remote tests in the degree of motor satisfaction and self-confidence. After the use of the discovery method directes by members of the second experimental group and for the post-test. • There were statistically significant differences between the experimental groups and the control group in the post-test in the degree of motor satisfaction and self-confidence for the benefit of the experimental groups
